The annual event was a success as ever, with many worthwhile winners.

**Hullensians RUFC Honors Exceptional Talent at Presentation Evening**

*3rd May 2024*

Hullensians Rugby Union Football Club gathered on the 3rd of May for their annual Presentation Evening, a celebration of dedication and excellence within the club. The event showcased the remarkable achievements of its members, acknowledging their contributions both on and off the field.

Tom McCarthy was awarded the "In Touch Trophy," sponsored by Rich Whittaker, recognizing his contribution to the social/media element across the club.

Ryan Baron, Chris Smith, and Lynda Barratt were also honored with Outstanding Achievement Awards, sponsored by Cyd McCarthy Akrill, Mark Stutely, and Steve Akrill respectively, highlighting their significant contributions to the club's success.

The Supporter of the Year Award was presented to Kev Hare, sponsored by John Krebbs, in appreciation of his unwavering support and dedication to the club - keeping our global fan base up to date with live ongoings weekly!

Nat Fuller was celebrated as the Hawks' most improved player, sponsored by Paul Scott, showcasing the club's commitment to nurturing talent and growth.

James Burrell clinched the Hawks Players Player title, sponsored by The Newton Family, embodying the respect and admiration of his peers.

Grant Bridgeman was named the Neil Hare Hawks Player of the Year, sponsored by The Hare Family and presented by Louis Hare, a testament to his outstanding performance on the field.

Other notable awards included the Clubman of the Year, presented to Cyd McCarthy Akrill MBE and sponsored by The Stout Family, and the Julian Barkworth Club Player Award, recognizing Callum Dagless for his dedication and commitment, presented by The Barkworth Family.

Harvey Healey was celebrated as the Most Improved Young Player, sponsored by Vince Knapp, while Ben Stutely claimed the Young Player of the Year Award, sponsored by Steve Bates, both very deserved winners of the awards.

Matty Southwell was recognized as the 1st team's most improved player, sponsored by Mark Stutely, while Cameron Jones received both the 1st team Man of Steel Award and the Players Player – Simon Smith Trophy, sponsored by The Smith Family, demonstrating not only his growth, but his ability to maintain consistent performances throughout a challenging season.

Finally, Pete Osborne was crowned as the 1st Team Player of the Year, sponsored by Steve Baillie, acknowledging his outstanding contributions to the team's success throughout the season, gaining - what some consider to be the highest accolade - the award as defined by his peers.

The Hullensians RUFC Presentation Evening served as a testament to the club's vibrant community spirit and dedication to excellence, celebrating the achievements of its members and inspiring future generations of rugby enthusiasts.
